Introducing my Bucket List
Are you a bucket list person or is it just me? I was never to big on making lists. They always reminded me of work and tasks that had to be done. But one day (on a long ride from one country to another) I just took out my pen and started writing what I wanted to do/see in my life. And boy did it change a lot!

Don’t get me wrong – I admire people who know what they want and can plan their live in a way to make sure they get it. But I just wasn’t one of these people. I picked out a new travel spot every few months and just tried to see as much as I can while I was there. So what did the bucket list change? I started to prepare myself more and see more.

I’m a pretty organized person. I knew what I wanted and how to get it. But connecting the dots on the map didn’t come easy to me. Example? In my “BBLE” (before bucket list era) I would just visit one cool spot in Thailand. After the BBLE I planned ahead, scheduled more vacation time at work and organized a trip that not only combined Thailand and Cambodia but allowed us to visit 7 different locations in 3 weeks! Now that’s what I call improvement. We saw everything we wanted. We visited the most important spots in Cambodia (Siem Reap & Phnom Penh) and spend 2 weeks in Thailand (visiting Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket & Koh Samui). Result? I consider those countries checked of my list as I don’t imagine seeing more that what I saw.

We are all in a run. All day, every day. We life in a hurry. But we are also taught to start taking the time to think about what we want and what are our needs. So this is my message to you. Stop, take a minute, take the time to think about what you want. Whether it’s a new destination or new experience. Take a pen and write down what are your goals – big or small. My list is still growing and it has more than just amazing cities and sights on it (maybe I’ll learn how to do splits one day). So go crazy – in the end you have your best interest at heart.
